Jennifer L. Bauer

Jenn Bauer is an attorney who joined McQuaide Blasko, Inc. full time in 2024 after working alongside attorneys at the firm for several years, focusing on Business and Corporate Law and Municipal Law. Jenn currently serves as the Vice President of the Centre County Bar Association and previously served as the Young Lawyer’s Division Chair. She is also the current Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division Co-Chair for Zone 11.

Prior to her career in law, Jenn worked in economic consulting and data-driven strategic operations for a mortgage company and in higher education fundraising, as well as taught at Penn State and owned and ran her own health and wellness small business.

Jenn obtained her undergraduate degree in economics from Penn State University. She received her Juris Doctorate from Penn State Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Penn State Law Review. Jenn is a member of the Penn State Law Woolsack Society and the Order of the Coif. She has published an article exploring the intersection of cultural bias and jury instructions related to police use of force: Unreasonable, Unfair, and Unaccountable: What Commonwealth v. Pownall Reveals About Instructing Juries on Police Use of Force, 128 Penn St. L. Rev. 701, 987 (2024).

Jenn is a Pittsburgh native who is happy to have returned home to Pennsylvania after spending time in the Chicago suburbs, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia. She currently lives in Bellefonte with her husband and young children, where she proudly supports her local community and volunteers as a board member of the Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania, Inc.
