Janene M. Druck

Jena Druck is a member of the firm’s civil litigation practice group in Hershey and concentrates her practice on health care law and litigation, including complex medical professional liability defense.

Jena graduated from the Dickinson School of Law, where she served as Associate Editor of the Arbitration Law Review’s Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation, and was inducted as a member of the Woolsack Honor Society.  While attending law school, she completed a year-long externship with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, volunteered with the Bethesda Mission Legal Intake Clinic and Wills for Heroes, and participated as a pupil member in the William W. Lipsitt and Cumberland County American Inns of Court. Through her work with Mid Penn Legal Services, Jena earned recognition as a Miller Public Interest Advocate. She was the recipient of an IOLTA Summer Fellowship, an ALI-CLE Scholastic and Leadership Award, CALI Awards for “Law and Medicine” and “Lawyering and Ethics for the Business Attorney” and the Laura Davis Jones Award for Excellence in Bankruptcy Law.

Prior to law school, Jena had a rewarding career in human services, focused primarily in the field of foster care in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Jena is an adjunct faculty member at the Dickinson School of Law, teaching Law & Medicine, which covers the law concerning the physician-patient relationship and bioethical issues that arise in that relationship, including topics such as medical malpractice, informed consent, issues related to reproductive health, refusal of life-sustaining treatment, and death with dignity.
