Attorney Philip Miles talks 'blawgging' in The Federal Lawyer

Why does McQuaide Blasko associate Philip Miles blog? New contacts, new clients, "Google juice," and the joy of writing, according to his article "Blawger's Manifesto" in the January/February issue of The Federal Lawyer.

Mr. Miles writes about employment law in Lawffice Space, which Lexis/Nexis named one of the Top 25 Labor and Employment Law Blogs for 2011. In his Federal Lawyer article, he explains what kind of return on investment he gets from his "blawg" ("blog + law = blawg", he explains) and suggests points for other attorneys to ponder before undertaking their own online enterprise.

The Federal Lawyer is the national publication of the Federal Bar Association. And "Google juice?" It's what you use to improve your Internet ranking so you show up better in Google search results.
