Two McQuaide Blasko attorneys named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers
McQuaide Blasko shareholders Grant H. Fleming and Steven S. Hurvitz again have been named to Super Lawyers magazine's 2012 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list. Only 5 percent of the state's lawyers make the annual list, based on a rigorous, multiphase rating process of peer nominations and evaluations combined with third-party research.
The Pennsylvania Super Lawyers issue will be published May 18 and also inserted into regional magazines around the state. Until then, the 2011 list can be found on the Web at www.superlawyers.com.
Mr. Fleming practices in the firm's Hershey office, focusing on the areas of professional negligence litigation and personal injury litigation. He is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, has served as an instructor in trial advocacy at The Dickinson School of Law, and has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on the subjects of professional liability and trial advocacy. Mr. Fleming has co-authored two chapters on medical malpractice prevention for WebMD and has successfully tried to verdict many cases on behalf of the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center over the past 30 years.
Mr. Hurvitz's commercial law and real estate law services have laid the groundwork for the formation of many prominent Central Pennsylvania companies, and he continues to represent longstanding corporate clients in a variety of sectors. Based in the firm's State College office, Mr. Hurvitz also has extensive expertise in complex matrimonial law issues, particularly those involving business valuation and division of assets.
