McQuaide Blasko attorneys speak on social media and the law
Three McQuaide Blasko attorneys joined Centre County colleagues in presenting "That Is So 12 Seconds Ago: Social Media/Ethics/Professionalism/Civility" at a recent Wilkinson-Campbell American Inn of Court meeting in State College.
Area attorneys attending the continuing legal education presentation learned about:
- The history of social media
- Attorney use of social media, and related ethical issues
- Social media and judicial ethics
- Social media discovery issues
Sharing information about legal aspects related to Facebook, Twitter, and more were McQuaide Blasko's Chena Glenn-Hart, Philip Miles, and Katherine Oliver. All three attorneys are civil litigators in the firm's State College office.
The American Inns of Court are organizations designed to improve the skills, professionalism, and ethics of the bench and bar. Membership typically includes judges, attorneys, law professors, and law students.
